Does my celebrant require a rehearsal time if the ceremony is to be conducted at CVI?

A rehearsal time can be conducted on non peak times on a Monday-Friday. Contact your coordinator to arrange a time. Your celebrant will need to run the rehearsal.

Who will provide a signing table?

We will provide a signing table and 2 chairs for the ceremony.

Vendor meals, is there a fee?

Yes. Vendor meals are available for $50 which covers the cost of a chef selection meal and a non-alcoholic beverage.

How long does my photographer have to complete all formal photos after the ceremony?

This changes depending on how long the ceremony goes as well as the pre-drinks time. Usually this is around an hour.

How long do my vendors have to bump in everything?

We allow your vendor to have 1.5 hours bump in time between event set ups.

How much time do my vendors have to pack down their equipment?

Vendors must bump out the night of your function and have 1.5 hours to do so. Nothing is to be left on-site after your event.

When do I book a time to meet my functions coordinator?

Please feel free to reach out at any time, otherwise they will be in contact a month prior.

Who will be my point of contact on the day?

Your functions coordinator will be your point of contact.

Will I need to add pre-drinks and canapes to the event?

This is completely up to you. There is an extra cost of $10 per person for chefs selection of canapes.

Can I bring my own bonbonaries? Who sets this up?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to bring these in as well as your own table numbers etc. These will need t be set up on the day by your own team. CVI is not responsible for anything lost or to set anything up on the day

Do my vendors need public liability?

All vendors must provide their public liability prior to the setting up of your event.

Can I have a slideshow playing in my function room?

As apart of your room hire cost, CVI provide the AV for your function room. Depending on the function room, clients will need to organise their own AV operator;
The loft – TV screen on wall
The Tudor – portable TV screen
Valley View – Projector screen & 2 Tvs on the wall

When is my final numbers and payment due?

Final numbers – 1 month out
Final payment – 10 days out

How much are kids meals?

We have 2 different options for kids meals. There are platters for $65 and feeds 10 kids. Alternatively we have $25 kids meals with meal and ice cream.

Do I have a dance floor?

CVI provides a dance floor only in the Valley View room.

Is there accommodation on site?

Yes we have 40 boutique accommodation rooms. This can be organised with our reception desk on (02) 4655 8413 or email reception@camdenvalleyinn.com.au

What is the latest my function can run to?

The venue is licensed until 12am Mon-Sat and 10pm on a Sunday. Due to RSA licensing the bar closes 30 minutes before the function ends.

What time can I deliver my cake?

CVI only accepts cakes after 10am on the day of your wedding, unless prior arangement

Is there a cakage part of my room hire fee?

We have different options for your cake. If you would like it cut up and individually served with cream and fruit then this incurs a $5 per person free. To serve your cake on platters incurs a flat rate of $65.

What does my package include as a standard set up?

Standard chairs, white linin, cutlery, glassware, crockery, napkins, cake table, gift table, round or long tables. We do not provide any styling.

What time is check in & check out?

Check in is from 2pm and Check out is 10am.

Can I get an early check in?

We cannot guarantee an early check in, though you’re welcome to give us a call on the day of check in and we can give you a more accurate time your room will be available.

Can I get a late check out?

Check out is 10am and we are unable to guarantee a late check out will be available, especially for weekend bookings as we are quite busy.

Is breakfast included in my booking?

No unfortunately breakfast is not included. You can make a bistro booking for breakfast or just walk up!

Can I bring pets?

Unfortunately our accommodation is not pet friendly.

Do you have family rooms?

We do not have family rooms, though our Standard Twin rooms do have 2 queen size beds and we are able to add an additional rollaway if needed. We can also organise interconnecting rooms if necessary.

Do you accept Stay Vouchers and Parents Vouchers?

Yes, we accept both vouchers!

Do you do room service?

We currently do not have room service, though we are working on getting it very soon! For the time being, you’re more than welcome to order food from the bistro and take it back to your room.

Do I need to make a booking?

We would definitely recommend making a booking, though we do not take same day bookings. We do have plenty of outdoor space available if you wish to come down as a walk in.

How long does the booking go for?

You will have your booked table for 2 hours. After the 2 hours has finished you are more than welcome to move to any other vacant area within the venue.

How many people can I book for?

We take table bookings for up to 30 people. If you’re wanting to book for more than 30 people please fill out a function enquiry form and our functions team will be in touch!

Do you still accept the Dine & Discover Vouchers? Are you still doubling them?

Yes we do! Though we no longer double them.

Can I bring a cake? Is there a fee?

Yes you can bring a cake, and there is no fee to do so! On arrival the host at the door will get a few details off you, and they will put the cake in the fridge until you’re ready for it.

Do I need to bring my own cake knife and plates?

No, we can supply this for you on the day.

Do you do takeaway?

We do not do takeaway for food though you are welcome to come down and grab a coffee to go!

What time does your lunch/dinner menu start?

Breakfast is from 7am-11am. Our lunch/dinner menu starts at 11am and carries through until close!

What time does the sports bar open?

10am daily.

How far in advance should I make a booking?

For larger groups and weekend bookings we would suggest to make a booking a few weeks before just to ensure you get a table.

Is there a fee to book a table?

No! For regular bistro bookings we do not charge anything for the table or require any kind of deposit.

Am I able to change my guest numbers?

Of course! When booking your table it is better to book for more people as it is easier to reduce numbers last minute than add people on, but you can definitely update your numbers at any time, just give us a call!

Can I bring decorations for the table?

Yes you can. All we ask is that there is no confetti included in the decorations.

Can I arrive earlier to set up my table decorations?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your table will be ready any earlier than you’re booking time. You’re more than welcome to come down 5-10 minutes earlier and ask the staff.

Can we order before we arrive?

Unfortunately you will not be able to order until you arrive at the venue and have your table number.

Can I wear thongs?

Yes you can!

Do you have wheelchair/pram access?

Yes we do, we are fully accessible for everyone.

Do you have a curtesy bus?

No we do not, however the area is full of ubers and they are very easy to book!

Do you have a DJ

Yes we do! Every Friday night we have a DJ from 8:30pm-10:30pm and on Saturday nights we have a duo from 8:30pm! Keep an eye on our social media to stay up to date with the latest news!
